On the elephant sanctuary, all the elephants have their best friend. Tarra's best friend is a dog, named Bella. They are inseparable. They eat, sleep, and play together. Tarra even rubs Bella's belly with her foot. Recently, when Bella was ill and unable to come outside, Tarra stood vigil, waiting as close as she could to the building. Inside Bella was temporarily paralyzed, unable to walk, or wag her tail. After three weeks, one of the sanctuary workers decided to carry Bella out to see Tarra. When Bella saw Tarra, her tail started wagging. They visited every day until Bella got better.

All dogs came from the woof! I mean, the wolf...

Apparently, some wolves were more gentle, and easier to tame.

Dogs can be genetically traced back to The East/The Orient.

And dogs have not only given us great companionship; they have also helped us survive, by protecting us, our property, the fruits of farming...
